Inspection

QFS handle all quantities of panels and components requiring high levels of accurate measurement. QFS', Zeiss Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) is networked to a modern in-house CAD facility, providing on-line statistical process control, verification and transfer of data. The CMM has a measuring range of 1600mm L x 700mm H x 1000mm H, which allows for the measurement of larger objects, with the combination of top end industry standard 3D CAD software, including full dimension and geometric tolerancing capabilities, for a comprehensive, quick and reliable measuring result.

Other measuring and testing machinery is available for use for any other requirements. Drawings and graphs can be generated from tests on the CMM, which can for instance, measure tool wear during manufacturing processes, saving on production down-time by indicating when action needs to be taken.

Prototype panels can also be measured against data, or original drawings produced where none previously existed.

Initial sample reports (ISRs) are tailored to the needs of individual processes and companies, and carried out by skilled QFS engineers.
